Austrian has 2 different lounges on the non-Schengen side. This lounge is the Business class lounge. Here are the entry requirements:
- Business class passengers traveling on Star Alliance carriers
- economy class travelers with United club membership, Air Canada Worldwide maple leaf lounge members
The business class lounge is not as big as I was expecting it to be compared to other Lufthansa group lounges, however, it makes sense considering that Austrian’s operations are smaller.
The lounge is essentially one long room with great tarmac views and seating along the whole line.
Behind the seating was where all the food and drinks in this lounge were.
The drinks selection was decent, just not something I was interested at 8 AM.
There were also beers and other in a fridge along with some other drinks.
One of the seating arrangements was facing towards a TV.
There were more seats further towards the back of the lounge facing the window and on the inner side as well.
The food options were pretty good across the board for breakfast, but breakfast is the hardest meal to mess up.
There was a selection of hot items too. There was a smaller section of other items closer to the lounge entrance but this was the main serving.
Overall, the business class lounge was pretty decent with a good amount of food but can definitely get full at times. The amenities aren’t great, but decent enough.
