Most of the hotels in Vienna are in the city, which is a decent distance from the airport. The Moxy hotel is not as nice as other hotels, but with me having an early morning start the next day, this was the most practical marriott property. For what it’s worth, its a decent hotel and right next to the airport.

At check in, the concierge thanked me for being a Bonvoy elite and gave me the key to my room. In my room was a nice message waiting for me handwritten on the desk which was pretty cool.

The room itself was simple but sufficient. There was a full-size bed, and a relaxing chair.

Back near the door was a bag stand which always is super functional.

There were a couple of holders with a lot of hangers on them which was great but the picture in the background was definitely a little bit too much for me, but not a big deal.

The TV was decently sized and already prepped with a welcome message for me.

The desk was minimalistic but spacious enough still.

With the table came a water bottle as well as some snacks. I was quite thirsty so I finished that water bottle pretty quickly.

The bathroom was pretty small but properly equipped with all necessary shower equipment.

At check-in, I was given this free drink card due to my Marriott Bonvoy status.

The drink was pretty good, but nothing special. It was decently refreshing, though alcoholic.

The hotel was nicely lighted and designed downstairs.

By the check-in counter, there was food available, but all pre-made and none fresh to order.
There was a coffee and Tea machine.

THere was also a section with ciders and champagnes.

It’s very clear the moxy hotel brand is made to appeal to a younger crowd for sure with the overall theme and amenities. Although not very business amenity friendly, it is basically right on the airport compared to the other marriott properties which are in the city. This instantly makes this hotel valuable to me and thus holds higher utility. So if you are looking for a hotel right on the airport for convenience, this is perfect, but for more comfort, you’ll find those in the city, but further from the airport.
