Finnair flies about 4 flights per day between London and Helsinki, and 1-2 of those frequencies are on their flagship A350-900. Pretty cool flight to spent 2.5 hours on if you ask me!

We boarded our flight via bus gate, which I normally don’t like but just because we had this aircraft, I was fine with it.
Economy class was in a 3-3-3 configuration. Finnair’s planes feature a simple grey color scheme which makes the plane feel pretty sterile but I was never one for caring too much about color schemes unless its the complete opposite of sterile.
I was in row 54 for this flight in the window seat.
The legroom was pretty solid. I’m 5’10” and this was more than sufficient legroom for me and probably a decent proportion of others too.
The tray table was one of those half-fold tray tables that opened up all the way if you needed.
The screen was pretty high definition and below the screen was a USB-A port and a headphone jack.
One thing that will never get old is the excellent wing view on that A350.
There was a buy on-board menu, and the only free things on this flight were water and blueberry juice. Why Blueberry juice? Well blueberries are harvested in large amounts in Finland and its sort of a symbol for the country as well.
I don’t get blueberry juice in the US so I was very much enjoying this.
A short while later, we began our descent into Helsinki.

Finnair is definitely regarded as one of the better European carriers. It was a treat to get an A350 on this short flight. The seats had ample legroom, the TV screen was very responsive, there were means of charging your device,
