The Eva Air Lounge is actually the first lounge I visited in BKK before the concourse E Thai lounge. If you are traveling on Star Alliance with status and/or in business class, this lounge is a hidden gem.
Even the Lounge entrance was stylish.
Upon entering and having your boarding pass scanned, the lounge opens up to the right. From there look left and you see this nice colored path that leads to the bathroom and showers.

The lounge just had nice neon colors and appropriate designs.
There was also computers available for use and they became very important for me on the way back.
There were also massage chairs.
Anyways this is what the lounge opens into from the entrance. I really liked the design of the lounge.
The seats were nice, modern, and had power ports on the floor.
There was also some high top seating with tables. There were power ports along the sides of the table.
There was a nice vase with flowers on a lighted section of the table.
And then there were just some design elements that seemed over the top, but still cool.
There was an ice cream bar visible in front. There was a variety of ice creams and then a fridge with chilled drinks.
Then there was a coffee machine and some chips. They even went as far as to make the coffee machine the same neon color.
Then there was the drinks selection and that also had ice on top of neon blue lighting.
Then there were come colored dividers leading to another section of the lounge.
There were more seats and I would say these seats were more closer together and could be seen as “family style”
And at the end of the lounge, there were more seats.
These seats were similar to the seats in the front room. There were also power ports on the floor here.
There was also a rack with magazines and newspapers.
This was also in the lounge back area, some seating away from windows.
And there were some tall chairs.
I liked the natural lighting this lounge had. It was not a large amount but rather enough for the size of the lounge.
Now let’s check out the food of the lounge, which also was impressive.
First, there were some napkins, utensils, and a random tray of Oreos.
Then there were some soups
I tried some of the spicy shrimp soup pictured below and it was really really tasty.
Then there was rice and Thai curry
Then some pizza.
I never want to see instant noodles in a lounge, but if you want, they are there.
There was some dim sum.
And some western options for those who prefer that
Back to the far east with coconut water and salad on top of neon ice 🙂
And then there were some chilled sandwiches.
And some fruits….
Finally the lounge emptied out when EVA was boarding for Taipei and I got this picture which basically shows the whole lounge if you can see through the neon dividers.
Overall, this is my favorite Star Alliance Business Class Lounge in all of Bangkok Airport. It’s not crowded, the food is excellent, the wifi is fast, and the lounge attendants were quick to clean up. Why do more people not use this lounge? All premium Thai passengers assume that they have access only to the Thai lounges and that makes them crowded because this is a Thai hub. However because this is an EVA lounge, only the Eva premium passengers were using it but Star Alliance rules dictate that I, as a Star Alliance premium cabin traveler/Star Alliance Gold Member traveling on a Star Alliance flight in any class, can use any Star Alliance Business Class lounge I’d like. Overall, this was a phenomenal lounge and was glad to have time in it. Well done Eva air, well done!
