Terminal 2 at LHR is home to a number of Star Alliance Lounges, and one of them is a Singapore Airlines Silver Kris lounge. This lounge is in the satellite part of terminal 2.
You’ll see this signage below and you can make your way to the SQ lounge.

The access requirements to enter the lounge are pretty cut and dry:
- Business Class Passengers on a Star Alliance Carrier
- Star Alliance Gold Members traveling on a Star Alliance Member Airline (+1 guest on the same flight)
- Business Class Passengers on a Star Alliance Carrier (+1 guest in any cabin on the same flight)
- SilverKris PPS and PPS Solitaire Members
The lounge is open from 5:30pm-10pm which is pretty encompassing in terms of the flights that are covered.

Table of Contents
Seating
The lounge was pretty decently sized and had a variety of seating options based on your needs.
There was a small room that had a few tables and chairs.

And then there was a hallway that led to the rest of the seating options in this lounge.

The first area was the kitchen area which had some table seating, but we’ll take a look at the food later.

The charging ports you have are UK-ports, so do be sure to have a converter if you need to plug something in and your chargers are not UK-native. However, they do have USB-A ports if those are of use to you.

And as you started to get into the well-lit parts of the lounge, you’d see some of the typical Silverkris Lounge seating you are used to.

As I was saying, there’s a lot of natural lighting in this lounge with great views of the tarmac.

There was also a bar but no one was staffed at it for the time being.

There were bathrooms and showers, but they were being cleaned for the short time I was at the lounge. Regardless, it’s always nice to have showers. Lord knows there’s a few random times I’ve shown up to the airport in need of a shower.

Food & Beverage
The lounge had a pretty decent selection of food and drinks across the board. There were soft drinks, hot drinks, juices, and a bar of course. And on the food side you had chilled foods, hot plate dishes, fruits, and desserts.

Views
As I was saying, the lounge had excellent views of the tarmac.

Conclusion
For an outstation lounge, I’d say the SilverKris lounge is a solid stop for any eligible passengers. You get a good variety of food, lots of seating, natural light, and showers if you need it.
